1.     CERTIFICATE COURSE IN HEALTH INSURANCE AND MANAGED CARE

The above named programme is designed to train practitioners in the Health Insurance and Managed Care Industry the basic concepts, fundamental principles, and the act of health insurance and Managed Care in such a way that they can relate effectively with the theories and the practice. In the end of the course, all participants will be able to improve on their practice in the Industry.

2.    ASSOCIATE COURSE IN HEALTH INSURANCE AND MANAGED CARE

This programme is designed to further expand the knowledge of all practitioners and managers most especially those that had already been equipped with the basic principles of Health Insurance and Managed care through our certificate programme. The target of the course is to make better managers for the Industry.

3.    EXECUTIVE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN HEALTH INSURANCE AND MANAGED CARE (MASTER CLASS)

This programme is for those in top management positions in the Health Insurance and managed care Industry. The target of the programme is to improve the managerial skills of this category of high profile individuals.



CONTENT OF OUR PROGRAMMES

All participants in any of the programmes must have gained an insight into the key factors and forces that upgrade their skills, behaviours and capabilities in the Health insurance and managed care Industry. They will also know how to explore best practices that can influence their productivity.
Using a multi disciplinary approach, the students will be able to formulate, synthesize and construct effective and appropriate responses to strategic issues or challenges in the Health Insurance and managed care Industry.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Our programmes are available for both full time and part time students, and all programmes commence in January 2012. For our Certificate and Associate Courses, the full time programme is for three weeks, one (1) week or 5 days classroom teaching and two (2) weeks or (10) days Industrial Training experience. All participants from hospitals or a health care service provider are required to go to a Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO) for Industrial Training (IT).The same applies to those from the Health Maintenance Organisation. This is to bridge the knowledge gap in the system. Meanwhile, the Executive Certificate Programme is exempted from the Industrial Training (IT).Also for part time programme, it runs for 3 months, one month for training and 2 months for Industrial Training (IT) while lectures hold only once a week.
