Help Lines Confidential telephone support provides members access to guidance on a wide range of professional issues covering their profession and any aspects of law. The Institute through her Secretary offers professional advice at all times to her members.  
Networking
Another benefit to members is that through the Institute's Divisions, Regions and Special Interest Groups, members are able to network across geographical and organisational boundaries as well as with managers from all levels of seniority and disciplines.


 HEALTH INSURANCE AND MANAGED CARE Magazine
The IHIM members' magazine goes out to members annually in December and then every six months a printed summary will be sent. It is designed to suit the busy lives of healthcare managers wherever they work and offers a practical learning tool to help readers do their jobs more professionally.

IHIMN Benevolent Fund
A charitable fund is to be set up in 2012 to offer financial assistance to members.
The Institute also seeks to promote the interest of all professionals in lifelong learning, a sense of moral obligation, to maintain and improve professional competence, enhance career progression, keep abreast of new technology and practice, or to comply with professional regulatory organizations.
